Dream Theater live in Firenze, 24th January 2023, a surprise for John Myung on stage!

The 24th January 2023 I attended my second Dream Theater concert in Firenze, at Tuscany Hall.

No need to say they were musically PERFECT, at 9 pm commenced a show that offered two hours of pure musical amusement.

But let’s start from the beginning, the opening act was at 8, the group was called ARION, a finnish metal band, check them out, they rocked the arena for 30 minutes. BRAVI!

Tuscany Hall had fun waiting for Dream Theater, I am not gonna lie!

But let’s focus on the main act.

If I had to pick just one word to describe Dream Theater is PRECISION.

Those five guys are unique and highly recognizable, technically aliens!

Talking about aliens, here you have a small bite of ” The Alien” , the first song performed on stage, directly from their last album ” A view from the top of the world“.

It was a special night for their legendary bassist John Myung and I was able to catch on video the little surprise his bandmates prepared for him, don’t miss the following video!!!

12 songs, 2 hours of incredible prog metal music.
